Postage Costs
We will ALWAYS send your item by the most economical and SAFE way possible, either by Royal Mail or UPS courier. Please do not mark us down in your ratings for postage cost - we do not make any money on postage and what you have paid is - to within a few pence - what it has actually cost to post your item. It only takes 3 bad ratings in a year for us to lose our Top Seller status. We have an account with UPS but may have to charge a little more for remote areas of the UK and Northern Ireland.
NB. We no longer ship to Italy because of previous problems but if you ask, depending on the item, we may be able to arrange tracked delivery.

Our Listings
The items sold by Age UK South Lakeland are donated to us by members of the public. We have checked them for damage and described them accurately to the best of our ability, but we are not experts! Please ask us if you have any questions, or if something isn’t clear and we will get back to you as soon as is possible, although that may not be the same day. We are also pleased to hear from any experts who may wish to add information about the items we're selling. All proceeds from this auction will be used by Age UK for providing resources for local older people in the South Lakeland Area, Cumbria.
It is a rare occurrence, but if you have bought an item and are having problems with it, please contact us first, via the 'Other' option on the messaging system, so that we can rectify whatever problem you are having. As a charity, we are reliant on our continued good feedback to maintain our reputation – therefore, please allow us to resolve any problems before leaving anything other than positive feedback. Also, please do not select the option of 'Item Not Received' or 'Not as Described' as this automatically opens a dispute and remains on our record even when resolved to your satisfaction.
