Capodimonte Italian Fluted Bowl With 3D Textured Scene & Gold Trim-#5891. According to website, Capodimonte porcelain was manufactured in Naples between 1743 and 1759 originally. This piece is unmarked, so I believe that the sticker fell off. Not uncommon for this to occur. It does say, Capodimonte,Italy #5891 on the back. There also appears to be the end of a signature in cursive writing on bottom of scene. This bowl has an elaborate scenery creating a realism to it. There's a cherub playing an instrument, trees, grass, birds in flight and a couple walking arm in arm with the man hiding a staff. There are two small holes on the back rim of dish to hang if desired. This dish is so beautiful and unusual. Not something you see everyday. Great display/decor piece. Is about 8.25" in diameter and. 2" high. Like new condition. No wear, damage or crazing. Has a nice weight to it. Stored in smoke free home and closet. Reasonable offers considered.
