MISC NOTES;

I am not an antiques dealer, I have no shop and am not an expert ,I describe all of my items carefully and am always accurate with my descriptions. I am an amateur enthusiast when it comes to antiques and I have some family knowledge of each piece, but with this item and with all my items please look at the photos carefully, ask questions , do your own research but above all else please decide for yourself on the items age and origin and material type..ADDENDUM ;You will see from my most recent feedback that I have just received negative feedback.I would like to point out that the buyer did not have a grasp of the English language, either because of illness, infirmity, stupidity, lack intellect or because English was not his first language but despite the reason, he complained by leaving feedback straight away,without contacting me, that his item had been damaged or broken and re glued. Unfortunately for me this individual did not read the sellers notes section which clearly stated that the item had been broken and reglued. Quite surprisingly he threatened me and this is now a matter being investigated by ebay.Suffice it to say, please look at the comments he made if you are at all worried,look at my response and then look at the details of the item listing under sellers notes. All will be revealed and one will be vindicated!....rant over.

SHIPPING NOTES;

I will post or ship your item within  10 working days (excluding weekends) from the date of cleared payment. Most of the time you will have your item in plenty of time but if a lot of my items all sell at once it will take me longer to get them all out to you. I place all items in order of who pays first to determine which gets posted first. Multiple purchases are always sent first as a priority. This does not mean that you will get your item within 10 days, you probably will, but that I have up until the 10th working (excluding weekends) day to dispatch. Please do not email me during this period fretting that you have not received your item, I've simply not sent it out yet. Email me in advance if you have special requirements, I cant promise anything but I will do what I can if possible. DO NOT LEAVE NEGATIVE COMMENTS OR FEEDBACK or reduce my star rating about delay because my terms of business for me as an individual seller are these, listed here, clear for all to see ,before bidding and as part of my conditions of business. Whilst I am very 'Basil Faulty' like, I am approachable and amenable if you are reasonable, and treat me with courtesy. Act like a MUPPET and I'll treat you like one and your item will go to the back of the line.

Oh, Christmas....Yes it will be a present and I know you will want it immediately for great aunt Maud, but I am one person and unlike Mr 'C' I do not have an army of elves at my disposal. I will try but you are ultimately in the hands of a far less organised Christmas institution...Royal Mail!!!.....Ba Humbug to you all.......hehehe.

My Postal/Shipping prices will almost always be higher than average and that is simply because it matters to me that your item turns up; turns up in one piece; and that the things my family have amassed over the years are not broken or lost. I will only post by recorded delivery. I will use special delivery if your item exceeds the insurance Royal Mail offer on the recorded service. If an item is too big I will use Parcelforce. I invariable use brand new postal boxes, bubble wrap and newspaper. They cost money and this will be passed on to you via the postal price. If you don't like these conditions please don't email me and waste my time by negotiating, just don't  bid on the item. I am flexible over personal collection, a mutually convenient meeting point close to where I live can almost always be arranged. I will ship abroad for most items except the heavy ones, but again the service I use will only be Royal Mail International tracked and signed, so If you are from outside the UK, email me for a shipping quote PRIOR TO BIDDING, if you don't, don't argue with me over the shipping fee after the auction has ended. I will combine postage on multiple purchases.

PAYMENT DETAILS;

As listed below, but from auction end you have 3 DAYS!! to pay CLEARED FUNDS or email me with your reasons why not. If you haven't paid because of a heart attack, for which you have my deepest sympathy and concern, but are able to email me to tell me then surely you can push a button to authorise payment? Unless I suppose your sending me a cheque.
