How to reset an Epson printer that has come up with the message:

" Waste ink pad in the printer is saturated"
"Parts have come to the end of their life"

You are paying for a program to reset your printer - you are not paying for a sequence of button presses!
You are not paying to reset ALL the printers listed here - only ONE printer reset that can be used MULTIPLE times.
Please state the model number of your printer and your email address, when ordering.

Normally the printer will display the INK PAD error message "Waste ink pad in the printer is saturated"  Or "Parts have come to the end of their life" for about 20 prints and then go into "limp" mode, where it will not print anything or give access to any other menu function.

Epson has put a counter in your printer that counts every page that has ever passed through the printer, even blank pages! When the counter has reached a certain number; the printer will shut down.

You will need to do at least TWO things:

1 – Reset the printer

2 – Replace or Clean the Ink Pads

3 – Collect any future excess ink in an external box

How to Fix This Problem:

You can purchase this program that will reset the counter to zero. This will make your printer work again! However, you will still need to do something about the ink pads. The program you will be supplied with, is NOT the FREE SSC utility. The program is designed to reset only a particular model of printer and you will have to inform us of the model number of your printer.

Replacing the ink pads

New pads cost about £30 from Epson and the pads are usually very difficult to replace. They are located at the base of the printer and usually, everything needs to be removed to reach the pads.

Wash the ink pads

Some printers such as the Artisan or PX/TX 700/800 have a panel under the printer and the pads are very easy to remove.
After removal; you can wash the pads under plain, running, clean water. Do Not use any chemicals! Then squeeze excess water and dry with a hair dryer. Result; New Pads! -
Most printers have the ink pads at the base and are very difficult to remove and this is a job for the professional. Therefore, most people will install an external box to collect any further waste ink.

Installing a Waste Ink Box

Within the printer, there is a tube that goes from the print head to the pads at the base of the printer. Instead of the tube going to the pads – you take the tube outside the printer, (by extending it) and insert the tube into any small plastic container. Then, you could collect any further ink that is expelled.
There are waste ink boxes being sold here on ebay.
Most of the sellers will provide full fitting instructions. We do not sell the waste ink boxes.

What happens when I buy a reset?

Once you purchase this - Please leave a message with your: Printer Model Number and email address.

You will be sent a reset by email. This will enable you to reset your printer. If you have any problems - please let us know as we may have to send out further files to assist you.

Once your printer has been reset - please let us know that you have a working reset and request a CD. We can then send a CD of the EXACT same files known to fix your printer. If for any reason you do not receive the CD within a reasonable time – please inform us (so a replacement can be sent) and not leave negative feedback without contacting us first.

Skills required:

There is an element of skill required to use this reset. However, we cannot possibly teach you how to use a computer.
You will have to know how to:

* Download a file from your email to your computer
* Unzip or Unrar files
* Open, move, copy or rename files or folders

If you are unable to do these basic things on your computer; then this reset is NOT suitable for you unless you have someone who can help you with the reset.

Please read and follow all instructions, included within the email and any help files. Most people have no problems with the reset. When they do have problems – it is usually, a user error. Sometimes, there may be a conflict with the security settings. (antispyware/antivirus)

Some Corporations do not like that you to reset your printer. Therefore, they have sought to (falsely) have these files
declared as Trojan or Virus files. In this case, you may have to (temporarily)  disable your antivirus / antispyware software, to use these resets. There is NO trojan/virus in these files!

We provide a full 100% satisfaction guarantee that the program will reset your printer. If for any reason the reset does not work – a full refund will be issued.
If you are happy with this program - please leave positive feedback.
If you have any problems - please contact us and we will do our best to help and advise you.

Full support will be provided to reset your printer.

Numerous people have used these programs and are grateful of the result.
No liability is accepted if you misuse this program in any way.
