Item Description Capodimonte set of 6 pieces: cups and saucers, covered sugar and tray decorated with a profusion of deep bas-relief mythical figures. This set has to be closely observed to appreciate all the exceptional workmanship and artistry that has gone into making it. Three-dimensional figures combined with rich color and abundat gold make these pieces of porcelain a central point on a display. Measurements: tray 12 by 5 inches, cup 2 3/4 by 3 inches, saucer 4 inches diameter, covered sugar 5 by 4 1/2 inches.Condition: no chips or hailines, gold seems intact, the tray may have some underglaze lines commensurate with the age. (No hailines). The cups and saucers are in the Capodimonte catalog, but they do not have a tray like this. The tray is marked Capodimonte, so is genuine, but maybe does not belong to the set although it matches very well the set. Some fading colors in the saucer commensurate with age.
