I contacted an antique appraiser about this piece and this was his description of the platter:
Ginori started producing some Capodimonte items in 1850. The coronet above the mark Ginori is typical of Capodimonte. They produced these pieces until 1930. After 1896 the majority of the pieces were marked Richard Ginori, but the Capodimonte items, still produced exclusively in Doccia, were only marked with the coronet and Ginori. So this nice, lovely platter is between 1870 and 1930, I would say early 1900s.
Measuring 14.5 inches in length and 10.5 inches in width
